Оптимизация скорости одного сайта WordPress

Для одного клиента делал оптимизацию. Конфигурация сервера: CentOS + ISP manager + Nginx Вот шаги, которые помогли ускорить работу Wordpress.

1. Сжатие и кэширование

Включил сжатие и кэширование (на 45 дней) в панели, в настройках домена. Фактически - это настройки nginx в конфиге /etc/nginx/vhosts/example.com/example.com.ru.conf

2. Заменил версию Nginx

nginx.x86_64 1.6.2-1.el6.ngx -> nginx.x86_64 1.12.1-1.el6.ngx

Заменяем на последнюю версию командой:

yum install nginx-1.12.1-1.el6.ngx

3. Включил http2

Это делается в конфиге Nginx

4. Проверил версию Nginx

5. Решил собрать Nginx с модулем pagespeed

yum install GeoIP-devel perl-ExtUtils-Embed libxslt-devel pcre-devel openssl-devel
bash <(curl -f -L -sS https://ngxpagespeed.com/install) --nginx-version latest

6. Также важно защитить пакет от обновления:

Для этого нужно отредактировать yum.conf и добавить строку: exclude=nginx

vim /etc/yum.conf

7. Включить Gzip Vary в конфиге Nginx

gzip_vary on;
